Crash Pad Series Episode 256 review: Ruckus and Rose Darling

Updated: Apr 6, 2018

This CrashPadSeries episode is one of the steamiest I have ever seen: featuring anal play, ejaculation, dildos and a Hitachi magic wand. And a lot of kissing!

Again, I won’t be a spoiler revealing exactly what happens here: but I feel, like in any other Crash Pad episode that the connection between performer is the focus. The setting is very relaxing since it’s a well-lit room with dark blue walls I’d kill for, and obviously relaxation brings to a steamy scene for our two performers: Ruckus (they/them) and Rose Darling (she).

The user interface at crashpadseries.com is intuitive as usual but speaking in particular for this episode I loved that there are clearly visible symbols right above the video description to let users know what sexual acts we are gonna see: three drops signaling ejaculation and a rosebud meaning “anal play”. I think this is a great idea since I know not everyone enjoys to see anal play in their porn: having a symbol clearly stating that the episode contains it avoids users to stumble into something not of their liking.

Ruckus and Rose are obviously enjoying what they do and this is heart warming to see: I don’t want to tell there is “good porn” and “bad porn” (and I send you to this meaningful, well written article by Paulita Pappel that discusses this common belief), but I feel like I can’t really say if all mainstream porn performers are really enjoying an anal scene just like it happens in this episode. Anyway I really hope sooner or later every sex worker will be put in a position to only shoot scenes he\she\they really enjoy: porn performers in my opinion are sexperts that deserve a lot of respect for their work and authority to educate about safer sex, sex positivity and more. I love seeing mainstream porn at times and I truly respect the people and companies that are at work behind it.

However, the ethics on which Crash Pad and the director Shine Louise Houston build their work are not only a milestone for improving the performers’ quality of life, but they are clearly visible in episodes like this making what we see feel real, authentic and enjoyable.
