Crash Pad Series Episode 260 Review: Emperatrix and Nicki Honey

Today it's #SexEdPornReviews time again! This time the protagonists of new Crash Pad Series' episode are Emperatrix and Nicki Honey, both examples of the 'beauty with brains' I see so much often represented in the ethical San Francisco porn production company.

A browsing through Emperatrix's performer profile at Crash Pad's official website really opened my mind: a #brujafeminista with strong ideals who chose sex work to educate others and who is turned on 'when people have long and and throughout check in before sex' and ''when people get tested regularly'. Definitely a great personality we all have a lot to learn from.

From the other side, I'm very pleased to see that Nicki defines themself as 'bratty bottom', representing the community of littles I also consider myself part of. There's really voice for every niche at Crash Pad!

The reasons why they chose to collaborate with the ethical porn series directed by Shine Louise Houston, as stated on their performer profile are quite touching so I feel like I need to quote them:

'I always get sad scrolling through pages of porn trying to find people that look like me and have sex like I do. So I might as well be the one on camera! I'm also allowed to pick my boo as my CrashPad scene partner? I was sold. :-)'

First, in mainstream porn is very difficult to find represented different body types and diverse sexual tastes without seeing them fetishized in a stereotypical way: that's why Nicki decided to become one of the protagonists of the change! Secondly, I personally think giving performers the opportunity to choose partners with whom they have an affective relationship or with whom they are fluid-bonded should feel very empowering to them.

But let's come back to the scene! I found it to be one of the most intimate I saw on Crash Pad, despite featuring rough sex.

Seeing performers hug and kiss as we see Emperatrix and Nicki in this episode shows they've had great communication before the shooting and that they're perfectly at ease with what they're doing, enjoying every minute of it. But here we come to what's new in this episode: our two performers have agreed with the production crew to film their discussion about consent and to make it part of the scene itself!

This choice is perfectly in line with both sex workers' view of porn as sex education and their discussion is very educational and never banal. This is definitely one of the episodes I would suggest to 18 year old folks starting to enjoy porn for the first time. The 'Behind the Scenes' too is very interesting and it gives the viewer a better idea of why the two performers chose this kind of career and their thoughts about porn and the trans community.

The sex looked to me very intimate despite the presence of rope, and of that gorgeous pink collar of Nicki pulled by the bossy Emperatrix. Also, I love that both the good-looking performers couldn't care less about their body hair: they both proudly rock armpit and leg hair!

Last but not least, I'm always amazed at the sex toys that the folks at Crash Pad manage to find for their shoots! The enormous dildo by Bad Dragon is simply gorgeous!

Definitely an episode worth seeing: it's very educational for younger people, but I think a little sex ed won't hurt anyone.
