Lovely 2.0, the pleasure ring that helps couples talking about sex

The pleasure ring that gives a whole different meaning to pillow talk

Lovely 2.0, the pleasure ring that makes couples want to talk about sex

After years and years of being in a relationship, you know, couples just create their own “after sex” routine.

There’s the guy that hurries to the bathroom (like Miranda’s Christian date in the episode “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” from “Sex and the City”), and the woman who immediately goes to check the kids, or resumes her household chores.

I think that the long term couples that really stop for a moment, taking advantage of the afterglow to connect with each other and talk about sex, are very few.

But now, there’s a pleasure ring for that - better, there’s a penis ring with an app for that.

Lovely 2.0 is equipped with Desire-Sensing Technology, i.e. it has two sensors that keep a record of all the couple’s movements during sex.

When you connect the sex toy to the Lovely app via the Bluetooth module, the informations detected by the motion sensors get translated into sex tips and inspirations, based on what the couple actually did during the lovemaking session.

Sounds like a great way to actually start a conversation about sex with your partner, doesn’t it?

Let’s see if me and my guy will like it!

A luxurious packaging for a luxurious penis ring

As soon as I opened the plain white box I had just picked up from the post office, I knew I was going to like Lovely 2.0: the modern look of the packaging was literally screaming “INSIDE ME THERE’S A QUALITY SEX TOY!”.

Every single detail makes for a great unboxing experience: from the cute wording “Hello, Lovely!”, that you can find both on the outer box and on the inner cardboard, to the clear explanation of what the sex toy really can do, right on the packaging.

As for the Lovely itself, it has been immediately clear to me that it would have been great even without the app, as a traditional vibrating ring.

The first feature that sets it apart from other similar products is the extreme stretchiness of the part meant to be worn around the penis: I don’t have very often the opportunity to hold in my hands a penis ring that’s entirely made from body-safe silicone, but stretchy as it it was made from TPE.

Generally speaking, in the last few months I’m noticing on the market more and more products made from this particular, super-stretchy kind of silicone: at Erofame 2018, Pipedream has presented an entire line of penis toys made from it, Control by Sir Richards.

Plus, the Lovely 2.0’s surface is incredibly smooth and velvety, and its bright teal colour is just so pretty.

Another feature of this precious cock ring that I really appreciated is its incredibly clever charging stand: I love it because it has a micro USB port, which means that it will work with the charger you already use for your smartphone.

The cable included in the box is just a standard micro USB to USB adapter, and I could use it to connect my phone to the laptop as well.

In use, the Lovely 2.0 definitely does its job as a vibrating ring.

It has 8 vibrating patterns and, while I can’t say that it produces the strongest and rumbliest vibrations I’ve ever felt, the grooves on the part that comes in contact with the clitoris help with extra sensations.

Here comes the app into play: my partner and I learnt soon that controlling the sex toy via the manual button on its surface isn’t very comfortable in the heat of the moment, and being able to use his smartphone as a remote control definitely made for a great experience.

A tool to help couples have the “sex talk”

But this beauty isn’t just meant to be used as a penis ring: as Lovely Inc.’s founder, Jakub Konik, says in an interview for EAN Magazine, “Comparing Lovely 2.0 to a vibrating cock ring is like comparing Apple Watch to a traditional watch”.

In our opinion, the main benefit of the app is that it’s great to start a conversation about sex, immediately after the act: we’re convinced that breaking the ice with its fun, nerdy stats or its clever sex tips will help many couples to communicate better, especially the ones that aren’t as comfortable talking about sex as we are.

What if the advice you read on Lovely app helps you working up the courage to tell your partner that you’ve always wanted to try, let’s say, soft bondage?

Or if the sex position you see on the screen right after sex encourages you to talk about what you like and dislike during sex?

Communication is key for great sex and great relationships, and I’m sure that this is the principle that the folks at Lovely Inc. kept in mind while developing this amazing pleasure ring.

In summary

If you find difficult to talk about your sexual desires with your partner, I think that Lovely 2.0 may be the sex toy for you: the app is great for breaking the ice, since its fun interface takes away the embarrassment from talking about sex.

As a standalone pleasure ring, this one may not be the best for clitoral stimulation, but it’s incredibly stretchy: it helps him last longer and achieve better erections.

If I got you curious, you can buy your Lovely 2.0 directly from its manufacturer here.

Sponsored review. Special thanks to Lovely Inc. for providing the sex toy free of charge, so I could discover a whole new way to have the “sex talk” with my partner.
