I’ve been curious for a while about the Lust brand from Orion: the stylish packaging, the elegant and minimal shapes of the toys themselves and the quality guaranteed by the renowned German company were definitely catching my attention!
Now, my partner and I are very happy to announce that we’ll be reviewing an interesting couples’ toys from this classy range, the Lust Vibrating Cock Ring. Its beautiful shape looks perfect for clitoral stimulation: let’s see if it will float our boat!
The packaging
The Lust Vibrating Cock Ring comes in an incredibly beautiful cardboard box, decorated with a pattern of tiny vibrating cockrings that look just like polka dots: so clever!
On the back of the packaging, a clear pic shows how to wear correctly the toy, while some instructions state: “Press the button to turn it ON, press down for longer to turn it OFF. Short press for vibration modes. USB rechargeable. USB cable included. Charging time: ~ 40 mins. Battery run time: ~ 60 mins.”
On the side of the box we can find the CE mark and more info about our new cockring: we are particularly impressed to see the actual measurements of the toy clearly written on there. This will help a lot of couples who are shopping in a brick-and-mortar store!
Unboxing & Charging
The box contains the ring itself, made from soft and velvety silicone, an instructional booklet, an informative leaflet and the USB charging cable.
The leaflet is the same we always find in the packaging of all sex toys from Orion, with instructions for using, charging and caring for the products. The booklet, instead, is specific for the Lust brand: it contains lots of sexy advice for couples and we found very interesting to read it!
Now, it comes the fun part. I had already used rechargeble sex toys, but I kept turning around the cockring in my hands, unable to figure out where to plug the charger!
Sure, there was that small hole just below the ON button, but it was covered in a thin layer of black silicone, and I didn’t want to put too much force on it because I was afraid to damage the toy.
From the other side, the charger plug was refusing to cooperate: it made its way through the thin silicone layer, but then it seemed to just lay there without plugging in correctly.
I confess I had to look for answers on Orion’s website, hoping to find a pic of the cockring connected to the charger: once i found it, I was reassured that I had find the correct charging port just below the ON button, but I still had trouble connecting it correctly to the cable.
Eventually, I could plug the port correctly and the first charge of the toy started. Needless to say, my partner laughed a lot to find out how much trouble I had charging it: “Tech is definitely not for you, dear Miss Doll…”.
A little partner fun
The shape of the toy really hits the spot: I had issues in the past with vibrating cockrings not exactly designed to match the female anatomy, but not with this. The vibrating part is longer in comparison with the ones of other similar rings, and this allows the vibrations to reach the right spots on my body, while the flat area around the ON button rests on the clitoris, providing precise stimulation.
By pressing the ON button you can navigate through the three vibration modes: I’m particularly in love with the third one, that pulsates rhytmically on my sweet spot. The first one, instead, is very gentle and we used it to warm up, holding the ring in our hands as if it was a regular mini vibe.
On the penis, the ring feels very stretchy and comfortable: the soft-touch material is oh-so-pleasant while the toy is worn, and a drop of water-based lube is enough to make sure that it slips comfortably on the skin. My partner would perhaps have liked it a little bit tighter.
In Summary
We loved the precise, intense stimulation provided by the Lust Vibrating Cockring and we’re happy to declare that it has officially become one of our bedroom favourites.
