Lint free, sex toy friendly storage bags are very difficult to find outside the adult market: your toiletry bag will leave lots of lint on your favourite dildo, while other kind of cases may not be breathable enough to let it dry properly after washing it, avoiding the growth of bacteria.
Still, storing your adult toys separately from each other is vital, especially if they're not all made from high quality silicone: in particular, dildos made from 'rubber-like' materials can degrade if stored in contact with other different plastic materials.
So, I asked to Orion the solution to this often overlooked but important issue: which storage bags are the best to keep our precious vibrators in?
Sandra, the sweet press manager of the German company, kindly sent me all the three models of storage bags and pouches that are available for purchase on the renowned distributor's online shop.
You2Toys Vibrator Storage Bag
This luscious, velvety red bag has a truly sensual feel: it looks like a high end jewelry bag, which instantly put me in the mood. I found it sealed in a plastic bag: this way, I'm sure I get an unopened, perfectly hygienic product. The drawstring closure is made from super soft satin.
It's big enough to fit two average-sized vibrators: I could put inside together my Pornhub Turbo G-spot Vibrator and the Dodil. However, I wouldn't recommend to do this unless you're sure your toys are made from quality silicone:Â adult toys made of other plastic materials may get damaged if stored in contact with different kinds of rubber.
However, the downside is...that this bag is actually linty. As you can see from the photos, it actually covered my sex toys in a layer of red lint.
Let's hope IÂ will be more lucky with the next bag from Orion!
This pretty storage bag, made in black satin, is part of the new Best Mate collection available exclusively online at Orion.de . It was sealed in a tiny plastic bag, enriched by the beautiful logo of the toy range. The material feels soft to the touch, it's breathable enough, and what's most important, completely lint-free: hooray!
This bag is nearly as big as the one from You2Toys, perhaps a little more on the narrow side. However I could fit inside my Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit, or my old 6" dildo, without any issue. It feels so luxurious that I decided to save it for my favourite toy so far, the Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit!
This one is quite big: I could fit in three or four toys at a time, and I would have managed to put in more if I wanted. Very practical for those nights out, visiting my long distance Daddy!
The drawstring closure makes this pretty bag easy to open and close, and I'm in love with the handle: you simply put it around your wrist and voilà , your most sexy secrets are ready to follow you everywhere...
Its feel to the touch is less sensual and luxurious in comparison with the previous two bags, as this is made in regular cloth instead of satin or velvet-like material. However, it's completely lint-free, which is what I was hoping for! The material is very breathable, which means it will let your dildos fully dry if you put them in while they're still damp: this is a great thing to avoid bacterial build up.
I found it very practical to travel with my collection of sex toys in a discreet way. If I want to put inside a dildo made of a material that may get damaged if it touches other toys, I simply protect it with the Best Mate storage pouch, then I throw it into the Sextreme bag, together with my other favourites.
In Conclusion
The storage bag from the brand You2Toys is pretty and sensual, but linty: you should get it only if you don't mind having to rinse your toys every time you get them out from it. The other two pouches, instead, are breathable and lint-free: I'd recommend both of them. The Sextreme one is perfect for users who already have a certain number of sex toys in their collection and for travellers, or women who like to bring their vibrators anywhere they go.
The Best Mate pouch, instead, is great to protect one single toy from dust and contact with other potentially incompatible materials.
