MEO Hydro Blast Anal Shower Attachment I

As I've previously stated in the review for the You2Toys Black Velvets Anal Douche Small, the sex toy industry is starting to view anal/vaginal showers no more as mere cleaning tools, but also as pleasure objects with a great potential: the nozzles are turning into the same rippled and bulged shapes of anal dildos, while the materials are getting softer and more sensual. 

This is definitely a great trend in my opinion: a throrough hygiene is vital when it comes to sex, and one of the bigger concerns is bacterial spread from the anus to the vagina during anal play: so, why don't we make cleaning more fun, in a way that makes consumers more prone to do it regularly? 

In the same way, for example, the industry is creating more and more flavoured, coloured and stimulating condoms: the aim is to make wearing them finally fun and enjoyable!

That's why I was very curious about the Hydro Blast range of anal shower attachments available from MEO: those nozzles come in enticing rippled and textured shapes. Browsing through them doesn't make me think about hygiene, but about stimulation: if there wasn't a picture clearly showing them attached to a shower hose, I would have mistaken all of them for luxury butt plugs!

I chose the model I: its shape reminds me of anal beads.

The packaging

My Hydro Blast Anal Shower Attachment came in the sealed plastic bag I usually get from MEO: I always appreciate this kind of packaging, because I think it's a great way to protect the consumer's hygiene.

Inside the outer bag, another translucent plastic layer protects the gorgeous pleasure object: I'm immediately impressed by its deep, velvety black colour. It's accompanied, as usual, by a promotional leaflet showing some products from the huge variety you can find at MEO.

The bulged shape really makes this anal shower look like a high-end dildo. But the toy isn't just beautiful, it's also incredibly pleasant to the touch: it has the smooth, velvety feel of quality soft-touch silicone. It's flexible, but still firm enough to give pleasure.

The overall look and feel of the product is very classy. Usually, non gendered anal douches like this aren't very pretty to look at, or at least have a very masculine look: instead, this shower attachment from MEO looks just perfect for the female user of high-end dildos too. Perhaps that's why I liked it at first sight!

Sensations...

The extremely smooth surface of the Hydro Blast makes insertion very easy. Unfortunately, since the toy is made from silicone, all silicone-based waterproof lubes are incompatible with it: they may damage the velvety material of the shower attachment. 

My partner and I solved this issue by reapplying very often our favourite water-based anal lube, as soon as it was washed away. 

The beaded shape of this aquatic dildo really did its job for us: it stimulated all the right spots during both anal and vaginal use. After all, we weren't truly interested to use it for cleaning up, you know...

Attaching the nozzle to the shower

Luckily, my Daddy Dom is quite good at DIY small domestic repairs: he got off my showerhead from its hose with no difficulties, and the screw attachment of our new watersports companion was very easy to connect to the shower. I was able to do it on my own too, when I wanted to surprise him with a sexy shower, and I'm hopelessly bad at DIY.

The only downside we found in comparison with traditional manual anal/vaginal douches is that, having this attached right to the shower hose, you have less control on the water flow: during the first two or three sessions, we found quite difficult to adjust it to a comfortable level using our shower faucet. 

We would suggest to start with the lowest water flow settings available, and to increase gradually until you get a comfortable stimulation from the water jet.

Still, while testing this product, we could learn that a stream of water against your most erogenous internal areas can be very pleasurable...

In Summary

We honestly were hoping for pleasure and stimulation from the Hydro Blast Anal Shower Attachment rather than cleaning efficiency. We must say we're really satisfied with this product: we love the sensual atmosphere that its classy look creates during a simple shower, the smooth and silky feel of the material, and the ease of attaching and detaching it from the hose.

We will look for a hybrid waterproof lube that would allow us to play in the shower without constantly reapplying it, and without damaging the quality silicone of the toy. I really hope that such a thing exists!

Due to the difficulties we experienced the first few times to get a comfortable water flow, we would recommend this product to users who have already experienced a traditional manual douche.
